Sticky Note Quote

I'm so proud of you.
I just wanted to tell you
in case no one has. <3

To the person who left this sticky note on a poster at DCCC I just wanted to say thank you. I couldn't think of any way to tell you so I'm gonna write a blog about it. Around campus there have been several poster boards popping up with sticky notes and pens. Write something inspirational, It says, or take one if you need it. It seems like something cheesy or dorky but don't underestimate that kind of power. I needed somebody to tell me that today. If I hadn't, my depression would've won and I would've been beaten down, crumpled up, and tossed in a corner today. But instead somebody said they were proud of me. I don't know who and they don't know me but it's important to tell people that. So leave a little sticky note somewhere today and let somebody else know something important or something good about your day. They are important just like you are important. So what encuragement do you have to give to me today? Or to somebody else? A stranger? A janitor? I'm gonna pass this sticky note around and you can do the same. And by the way, Im proud of you too. I think you're pretty awesome. <3

Midnight Stories with Bri

Hi guys, so last night I had a dream that I thought was interesting enough to share. This post might not be your cup of tea but I'm gonna work on another one for next week. So without further ado, join me in Madness (again).

So my sister and I recently moved into a neighborhood, (I'd never lived in one before) so this story takes place in a form of neighborhood.

We were wandering around and ended up finding a shed in a neighbor's backyard and broke in (yes we broke into a shed, my dream self is a criminal).
We then decided to make it a clubhouse for ourselves and moved an entire office space into it because we are giant nerds. Then we start to eat our halloween candy which in my head for some reason was kinda like a camera angle of a trash can with somebody dropping trash next to it and didn't show us actually eating the candy. >.> But for some reason we had no intention of throwing away our trash because we are utter slobs.
Why am I focusing so much on the trash can? Because the owners found out about us but instead of wondering why there was someone's office in their shed they were more concerned about the fact that we refused to throw our trash in the bin... So they left us a note...

Image result for sarcastic face is sarcastic memeThis is obviously the most logical thing to do in a situation where some creepy kids have set up shop in your shed but whatevs it's a dream so we'll let it slide. We then come back and instead of being thankful that the neighbors didn't call the police and, for some reason, seem fine with us trespassing, we continue eating
THE SAME CANDY IN THE EXACT SAME WAY AS THE FIRST TIME. Which of course makes the owners mad because littering indoors is the biggest law being broken here.

Then we come home and try to get our uncle to make our treehouse (that could literally fall over with a breeze) into an office clubhouse. Which he won't do because, even though my uncle is awesome like that, he's not stupid enough to think that A: that's a good idea and B: he has anywhere close the the time or energy for a stupid project for his idiotic nieces. Which means that in dream world my uncle is the most rational person in my mind....       Which is in itself irrational.

So that was another example of how I belong in a mental institution and why mine reading should never be a thing because nobody should ever have to suffer through my brain.

This concludes Midnight Stories with Bri. Stay tuned next time when she says something logical.
